Privacy Policy

VibeRecord helps teams record narrated walkthroughs of apps they are testing and turn them into change requests. VibeRecord is run by Brian Glavine, a sole proprietor in Ontario, Canada, who is the controller of your personal information (the one who decides how it's used). Contact: brianglavine@gmail.com.

What we collect

We never record unless you start a recording. iOS always shows a red recording indicator while recording.

How we use it, and why we're allowed to

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Who can see your recordings

Only you and the people you add to a project. Files are stored privately and shown through short-lived links. Our staff do not open customer recordings without your permission.

Who we share data with

Your data may be processed in the United States. Where required, we use standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Recordings are deleted automatically after the period you choose in Settings (30 or 90 days, 90 by default), and 30 days after every change request in a recording is marked done, or kept until you delete them. Deleting your account removes your account, projects, recordings and screenshots. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires, then deleted.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is checked on every request, and activity is logged. See our Security page.

Your rights

These rights apply under PIPEDA (Canada), GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California), among others.

Cookies

We only use essential storage needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

VibeRecord is not intended for children under 16.

Changes

We will tell you in the app before material changes take effect.
